The journey from the Bulukumba city of Makassar City can be reached by using public transportation. Furthermore, from the City of Bulukumba to Tanjung Bira can be reach by using public transportation. Total travel time from the City of Makassar to Tanjung Bira approximately 3.5 hours.

Tourist area of Tanjung Bira beach is equipped with various facilities, such as restaurants, lodging, villas, bungalows, and hotels with very affordable rates. In this place there are also rental diving and snorkeling equipment. For visitors who completed a swim at the beach, there are public bathrooms and fresh water to clean the sand and sea water that is still clinging to the body. Tondano Lake - Sulawesi

One of beautiful place that has extraordinary scenery in Sulawesi is the Tondano Lake. Tondano Lake is a beautiful lake that is located 600m above sea level surrounded by mountains which have an average altitude of 700 meters, where many people come for day trips to enjoy the cool air of the mountain. Tondano Lake located approximately 36 km from the city of Manado.

Tondano Lake is the largest lake in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The lake is flanked by Lembean mountains, Kaweng Mount, Tampusu Hill, and Masarang Mount. The lake is surrounded by roads that linking the provincial and Tondano city, East Tondano District, Eris District, Kakas District, Remboken District, and District of South Tondano. This lake is good habitat for lake fishes like Mujair, Pior / Kabos, Payangka Wiko (small shrimp), Nike and so on. This lake has 4.278ha of area, and there is a small island named Likri (next to the Tandengan village, Eris district). On the shores of the Lake we can see Kaweng Mountain clearly.

Visiting Tondano Lake is really precious momment. With about an hour journey from the city of Manado via road and winding up in the mountains and the green crops, we can arrive at the edge of the cool air of Tondano.

Lake Tondano has a famous tourist attraction "Sumaru Endo" Remboken, and Pine Hill Resort Tourism (Tondano direction Toliang Oki). From the edge of the lake Tondano (Toliang Oki), we can pass the peak hill and looked at the beauty Lembean Maluku Sea (to the east), precisely the Tondano Pante area (Sub Kombi), Minahasa regency.

We can find many restaurants there, which is generally located on the lake. Vary dishes are also available, but the most popular, of course, Goldfish, Mujair and anchovy catches or breeding in Lake Tondano. These fish can be cooked in many variations.

Semenanjung Totok – North Sulawesi

Indeed, still few people who visit Buyat Bay and surrounding areas for new diving area, because is not officially promoted in tourist brochures, printed on a map let alone diving and Internet sites. In a way, not many people realize the beauty of coral reefs in this place is really fascinating.
This area does have proudly the best reefs of Indonesia and in the world.  Semenanjung Ratatotok aka Tanjung Ratatotok aka Tanjung Totok length about 3.4 miles heading east. Along the shores of this headland there fringing reef and at the end of the promontory there was a separate section, like the island called Pulau Putus-Putus.
In the meantime, that separates the tip of the cape called the Great Strait. This is where the beauty of coral reefs can be clearly evidenced through snorkeling.
Great Strait in Semenanjung Totok, precisely separates Putus-Putus island at the end. The Bottom of island topography is relatively flat water, with a maximum depth of about 15 meters. That strait separates the waters of the Teluk Totok with Maluku Sea about 100 meters wide.
When we snorkeling at these locations, we will find reef ball (round artificial reefs) which had been overgrown with coral and algae, filter feeders and plants that make this location very beautiful and interesting. A number of reef ball has become a large moray eel habitats. In addition to reef ball, a lot of juvenile fish is found, i.e. the type of reef fish and a puffer boxfish.
Only with a snorkeling course, the beauty of the underwater world Semenanjung Totok can be seen clearly. Especially if you dare to penetrate more into the back. For divers, this site has a distance of 15-20 meters, the temperature of 26-32 degrees Celsius, depth of 15 meters, and flow from moderate to strong.
Meanwhile, the type is drift diving (the flow) is appropriate at 07.00 am to 11:00 noon. Diving season in this place is throughout the year with a best time in November to May. To reach these Semenanjung Totok, divers can take a boat from the Lakban harbor.

Bunaken National Park

Bunaken National Park is a representative of Indonesian tropical water ecosystems of the mangrove ecosystems that consists of sea grass, coral reefs, and land / coastal ecosystems.
In the northern part of Bunaken, Manado Tua Island, Montehage Island, Siladen Island, Nain island, Nain Kecil Island, and some coastal areas of Cape Pisok. While in the Southern coast includes Tanjung Kelapa.

The potential of this national park land is rich in species of palm, sago, woka, silar and coconut. Animal species that live on land and coastal regions such as Sulawesi black ape (Macaca nigra nigra), deer (Cervus timorensis russa), and possum (Ailurops ursinus ursinus).
Plant species in the mangrove forests of Bunaken National Park Rhizophora sp., Sonneratia sp., Lumnitzera sp., And Bruguiera sp. The forest is rich in various kinds of crabs, shrimp, mollusks and various types of marine birds such as seagulls, storks, sea doves, and sea Heron.
Type of algae found in this national park include the type of Caulerpa sp., Halimeda sp., And Padina sp. Seagrass dominated Montehage especially on the island, and the island of Thalassia hemprichii Nain, Enhallus acoroides, and Thalassodendron ciliatum.
Recorded 13 generation of corals living in waters of Bunaken National Park, dominated by the edge of coral reef species and coral reef barrier. The most interesting is the vertical cliffs as far as 25-50 meters.

Approximately 91 species of fish found in the waters of Bunaken National Park, including gusumi horse fish (Hippocampus horse), white oci (Seriola rivoliana), yellow tail lolosi (Lutjanus Kasmira), goropa (Pseudanthias Ephinephelus spilotoceps hypselosoma), ila trunk (Scolopsis bilineatus) , and others.
Types of mollusks like giant clam (Tridacna gigas), the head of the goat (Cassis cornuta), hollow nautilus (Nautilus pompillius), and tunikates / ascidian.
