Bali Island, Indonesia

Bintan Island

Bintan island is the largest of the 3,200 islands in the Riau archipelago, located just 45 kilometers southeast of Singapore 0r a 45-minute rides on a Catamaran from Singapore. The highest point on the island is a hill or what is left of an old volcano. Known as Bintan Besar, it measures almost 400 meters high.

Tanjung Bira – South Sulawesi

For the traveler who often go to various tourist places, Tanjung Bira probably familiar in their minds. Tanjung Bira is a white sand beach that is popular in South Sulawesi. These include clean, neat, and clear seawater coastal beaches. The beauty and comfort of this beach very fame to foreign countries. Foreign tourists from many countries visited this place for a vacation.

Tanjung Bira has several features that can be enjoyed with the naked eyes. Tanjung Bira beach is very beautiful and stunning with soft white sand like flour. Tondano Lake - Sulawesi

One of beautiful place that has extraordinary scenery in Sulawesi is the Tondano Lake. Tondano Lake is a beautiful lake that is located 600m above sea level surrounded by mountains which have an average altitude of 700 meters, where many people come for day trips to enjoy the cool air of the mountain. Tondano Lake located approximately 36 km from the city of Manado.

Tondano Lake is the largest lake in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The lake is flanked by Lembean mountains, Kaweng Mount, Tampusu Hill, and Masarang Mount. The lake is surrounded by roads that linking the provincial and Tondano city, East Tondano District, Eris District, Kakas District, Remboken District, and District of South Tondano. This lake is good habitat for lake fishes like Mujair, Pior / Kabos, Payangka Wiko (small shrimp), Nike and so on. This lake has 4.278ha of area, and there is a small island named Likri (next to the Tandengan village, Eris district). On the shores of the Lake we can see Kaweng Mountain clearly.

Visiting Tondano Lake is really precious momment. With about an hour journey from the city of Manado via road and winding up in the mountains and the green crops, we can arrive at the edge of the cool air of Tondano.

Lake Tondano has a famous tourist attraction "Sumaru Endo" Remboken, and Pine Hill Resort Tourism (Tondano direction Toliang Oki). From the edge of the lake Tondano (Toliang Oki), we can pass the peak hill and looked at the beauty Lembean Maluku Sea (to the east), precisely the Tondano Pante area (Sub Kombi), Minahasa regency.

Semenanjung Totok – North Sulawesi

This area does have proudly the best reefs of Indonesia and in the world.  Semenanjung Ratatotok aka Tanjung Ratatotok aka Tanjung Totok length about 3.4 miles heading east. Along the shores of this headland there fringing reef and at the end of the promontory there was a separate section, like the island called Pulau Putus-Putus.
In the meantime, that separates the tip of the cape called the Great Strait. This is where the beauty of coral reefs can be clearly evidenced through snorkeling.
Great Strait in Semenanjung Totok, precisely separates Putus-Putus island at the end. The Bottom of island topography is relatively flat water, with a maximum depth of about 15 meters. That strait separates the waters of the Teluk Totok with Maluku Sea about 100 meters wide.
When we snorkeling at these locations, we will find reef ball (round artificial reefs) which had been overgrown with coral and algae, filter feeders and plants that make this location very beautiful and interesting. A number of reef ball has become a large moray eel habitats. In addition to reef ball, a lot of juvenile fish is found, i.e. the type of reef fish and a puffer boxfish.
Only with a snorkeling course, the beauty of the underwater world Semenanjung Totok can be seen clearly. Especially if you dare to penetrate more into the back. For divers, this site has a distance of 15-20 meters, the temperature of 26-32 degrees Celsius, depth of 15 meters, and flow from moderate to strong.
Meanwhile, the type is drift diving (the flow) is appropriate at 07.00 am to 11:00 noon. Diving season in this place is throughout the year with a best time in November to May. To reach these Semenanjung Totok, divers can take a boat from the Lakban harbor.

Bunaken National Park

Bunaken National Park is a representative of Indonesian tropical water ecosystems of the mangrove ecosystems that consists of sea grass, coral reefs, and land / coastal ecosystems.
In the northern part of Bunaken, Manado Tua Island, Montehage Island, Siladen Island, Nain island, Nain Kecil Island, and some coastal areas of Cape Pisok. While in the Southern coast includes Tanjung Kelapa.

The potential of this national park land is rich in species of palm, sago, woka, silar and coconut. Animal species that live on land and coastal regions such as Sulawesi black ape (Macaca nigra nigra), deer (Cervus timorensis russa), and possum (Ailurops ursinus ursinus).
Plant species in the mangrove forests of Bunaken National Park Rhizophora sp., Sonneratia sp., Lumnitzera sp., And Bruguiera sp. The forest is rich in various kinds of crabs, shrimp, mollusks and various types of marine birds such as seagulls, storks, sea doves, and sea Heron.
Type of algae found in this national park include the type of Caulerpa sp., Halimeda sp., And Padina sp. Seagrass dominated Montehage especially on the island, and the island of Thalassia hemprichii Nain, Enhallus acoroides, and Thalassodendron ciliatum.
Recorded 13 generation of corals living in waters of Bunaken National Park, dominated by the edge of coral reef species and coral reef barrier. The most interesting is the vertical cliffs as far as 25-50 meters.

Approximately 91 species of fish found in the waters of Bunaken National Park, including gusumi horse fish (Hippocampus horse), white oci (Seriola rivoliana), yellow tail lolosi (Lutjanus Kasmira), goropa (Pseudanthias Ephinephelus spilotoceps hypselosoma), ila trunk (Scolopsis bilineatus) , and others.
Types of mollusks like giant clam (Tridacna gigas), the head of the goat (Cassis cornuta), hollow nautilus (Nautilus pompillius), and tunikates / ascidian.

Lake Ranau (South Sumatera)

There is no doubt about The beauty of Lake Ranau. Lake Ranau is the largest and most beautiful lake in South Sumatra, located in District Appeal Court, District OKU Selatan (formerly included in the area Ogan Komering Ulu). Located approximately 342 kilometers (km) from the city of Palembang, 130 km from the City Baturaja, and 50 km from Muara Dua, the capital of OKU Selatan. Meanwhile, from Bandar Lampung, this lake can be taken through Bukit Kemuning and Liwa.

Geographically, the lake is located in the border district OKU Selatan, Province of South Sumatra and West Lampung District, Lampung Province Lake Ranau which has an area of about 8 × 16 km with the background of Mount Seminung (altitude of ± 1880 m asl), surrounded by hills and valleys . At night, cool air and during the sunny day temperatures range between 20 ° -26 ° Celsius. Located on the position of 4 ° 51'45 "longitude south and 103 ° 55'50" East Longitude.

In theory, the lake was created from the massive earthquake and volcanic eruptions of the volcano that makes the hollow large. Major rivers that formerly flowed at the foot of the volcano became the principal water source that fills the hollow.

Over time, a large hole was filled with water. Then, around that new lake, starting overgrown with various plants, including bush plants and called Ranau by the local people. Therefore, the lake was named Lake Ranau. The rest of the volcano has now become Mount Seminung who stood firm on the edge of the clear lake water.

On the other side at the foot of Mount Seminung, there are natural hot springs that come out of the bottom of the lake. In the vicinity of the lake can also be found Waterfall Subik. Another place of interest to visit is the island of Marisa is located not far from the hot water.

Tanjung Tinggi Beach - Bangka Belitung

Indonesia has so many beautiful tourist destinations, one of which often visited by foreign and local tourists are Tanjung Tinggi Bangka-Belitung.
Tanjung Tinggi  is a beach that is flanked by two peninsulas. These beaches have unique white sands, that are because hundreds of huge granite stones scattered in the peninsula and also in the sea in front of the beach. The granite size differs from a few hundreds of cubic meters to more than a building of houses. You can ride, walk and jump between the granite to enjoy the exclusive view from every corner of your feet. Form of the large stones were also unique, some formed caves, which can be sheltered during the rain. The stones were piled up one to another, formed an interesting object.

The stones are laid on the white sand. You can walk on the white sand between the rocks and clear sea water. You may see white sand anywhere along the coast. Children will love to play there. Because the waves are not large, clear sea water with the surface of the sandy sea bottom, the kids will really like playing on the beach. You do not need to worry about shark attacks, because it never happened in Belitung. The only thing you need to watch out is jellyfish, especially the large.

Tanjung Tinggi  is also called the Bilik Harbor. This place used to be the first fishing port for the villager  nearby Keciput or Tanjung Tinggi. There are at least twenty simple seafood restaurants along the beach. This is the place for you to rest for a while, drank coffee or ordering lunch. The main menu is seafood. Just do not expect you to get the same class of service in the mall restaurants. They're just ordinary people from the village who opened a simple restaurant. But don’t worry, the people there are always friendly to all guests, just like most people of Indonesia.

Believe me, once you get there, you won’t wait to run to the beach and feel the soft white sand with waves gently swept the coast. You will walk along the beach, and out of curiosity, you will lead granite boulders and jump, starts the adventure with granite rocks among, or walking among big rocks. The more you are around the corners of the beach, the more ability to see the beauty of this beach panorama. Total length of the beach about 1.2km, but you can walk further along the beach because the white sand  still remains.

Mutun beach, Lampung Indonesia

Lampung has many tourist destinations where one of the potential for capturing many tourists is the beach tourism. Call it like white sand beaches and coastal KALIANDA the favorite locations of domestic tourists and it’s always a busy place and surrounding residents on weekends or during the holiday season arrives.

In addition to these two beaches, there are many really beach - the beach is relatively virgin no less beautiful than KALIANDA beaches and white sand beaches. One of them is located in Mutun coast ,not far from the center of Bandar Lampung. Only takes around 20 - 30 minutes to reach this beach by car or motorbike. Moreover, the royal road to this area fairly smooth. Scenery along the road to the mutun beach is also good to pass up. The beauty of green trees, fields and mountains can be enjoyed throughout the journey.

After parking places provided, we can enjoy the beach atmosphere by sitting in the cabin that can be rented for a rest. The atmosphere of the beach while the weekends are very crowded, many people who enjoy the beach by swimming, for who cannot swim can rent a tire / buoy or doing water sports like canoeing. With rental costs around Rp 10 thousand - Rp20 thousand per canoe, we can enjoy this sport for an hour. Many are also among the visitors who snorkeling at sea around the coast.

If we want to enjoy the beach and the sea far cleaner  from the beach Mutun, we can cross to the small island opposite the beach called the island Tangkil. To reach the island's,there are many available boats that ready to take us, only with Rp. 5000, - we will be delivered back off the Islands. Arriving on the island Tangkil, we can ask the owner of the boat to pick us back in time that we set.
Tangkil island atmosphere is much more beautiful than Mutun beach, the beach is cleaner and the atmosphere is not crowded so that we can feel it more comfortable for swimming or just walking around the beach on the island. But be careful if you want to swim here, because in some places there are many sea urchins and you could be trampled. On the island there are also cabins that can be rented for a rest. And, in the middle of the island located to conduct outbound games.

If we want to visit the Mutun beach on the holiday, we should have left since the morning, if it’s not  it might be already full of visitors there.

Way Kambas National Park Lampung, Sumatra


Way Kambas National Park (TNWK) located on the north Lampung is synonymous with the elephant, although the fact that the national park is where endangered species live, like a rhinoceros, Sumatran tigers and other endangered animals. National Park which was established as a national park by the Ministry of Forestry is a national park that is well known to foreign countries. Way Kambas National Park has an area of 125,621.3 hectares and is located in the Regency. East Lampung and Central Lampung District, Lampung Province.

On the Way Kambas National Park, we can enjoy the attractions of trained elephants. We can see attractions of dancing  elephant, shaking elephant to the accompaniment of music, elephant soccer that quite popular among local tourists, put flowers, shaking hands, and swim. If not, we can ride these elephants,but of course we have to pay some money.

The elephants in national parks is not in the real wild life because they are all in the training of elephants. The elephants are still wild tamed and trained at the Center Way Kambas Elephant Training. This training center was established to overcome the problem of wild elephants are driven life because their habitat is used for agricultural fields.

In addition to the elephant training center, Way Kambas National Park has a Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary (SRS) which is the only place where wildlife breeding Sumatran rhinos in Indonesia. In fact, SRS is the only location where the developer of Sumatran rhino breeding in semi-natural in Asia or perhaps the world. But nature tourism visits in SRS is limited due to research and development of sumateran rhino.

Also, if interested we can around the National Park elephant riding, do not worry because the elephant - the elephant was trained. Um, can imagine the sensation that we can get to ride the largest land mammal? If lucky, we can also find a variety of wildlife inhabitants of Way Kambas National Park.
And another thing, in the Way Kambas National Park are also available food stalls selling different food and drinks and of course souvenir as a sign of our adventures in Way Kambas.
With all the grandeur and charm that is, only natural that many people from all over insert Way Kambas as places to visit in his life.
